Elections Training Series!

When: Thursdays, 5:30pm-6:30pm in September 29, October 6,13,20 Where: Hybrid (Zoom & at office 4648 N. Racine) What: We have big elections coming up for Governor, Mayor, and Alderman. Come learn with us! We'll cover four topics:  Civics & Movement Politics: What is City Council, what is an Alderman, what is the Mayor, and what powers do they have? Why do we care about elections? How Do Elections Work: We've all heard of voting at the ballot box, but what else happens during elections - how do they work? Political Landscape: Who is running for Aldermen and Mayor? What are the opportunities for us? Deep Canvass Conversations: How do we connect with our neighbors and personal networks about the election? How do we have deep conversations that uncover what issues people care about and build relationships for the long term?
