ABOUT THE EVENT:

The Fall Fundraiser is a great time to join together and celebrate the work of ONE Northside and the leaders who make it possible. 

This year we will be joined by special guest Cynthia Nixon.

Cynthia is a long time community activist on issues including education equity, women's health care, breast cancer awareness and LGBTQ rights. She is a life long New Yorker and a product of public education. She ran in the primary for governor of New York in 2018 against Andrew Cuomo. Her platform focused on income inequality, renewable energy, establishing universal health care, stopping mass incarceration in the United States, and protecting undocumented children from deportation.

She was endorsed by many progressive organizatons and people including the Working Families Party, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 350 Action, Indivisible, and Citizen Action New York.

Oh, and she does some acting - she is a Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winner!
