North Star is our annual fundraising event and campaign, a time for us to reflect on all we have accomplished together as a community in the last year and to come together in hope and determination for the future. Our community's support helps to sustain our work in the coming year. Your support is an investment in ONE Northside's work and mission.
2025 was our most powerful year ever, as we faced unprecedented challenges and saw incredible growth in response:
- Facing massive budget cuts at every level of government, we organized to win major victories for our communities, including Green Social Housing and Green Schools!
- With gentrification and displacement accelerating across the North Side, we won the fight to save the Leland Building, keeping 130 affordable units in Uptown and all tenants able to stay in their homes!
- When ICE and CBP attacked our vulnerable neighbors, we jumped into community defense, and now coordinate over 150 rapid response volunteers across four neighborhoods and more than 500 volunteers in a vast mutual aid network across the North Side.
We're not slowing down in 2026. We need you to stand with us as a partner to fund our vital work so we can have the resources we need to stay flexible with the challenges we will face this year. Thank you for helping us fight for a better world for all of us!
